A NYC Firefighter, heroically responded duty at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Born July 23, 1966 to Jean and John H. Marshall (deceased) a NYC Police Officer. Dan graduated from Clarkstown High School North in 1984. He made his roots in Congers, N.

Y. Dan joined the NYC Fire Department in 1999 and was assigned to Ladder 27, Engine 46, Bronx, N. Y. and was on rotation with Engine 23 in Manhattan. On the morning of September 11 he was detailed to Ladder 35 in Manhattan.

Dan will be deeply missed by his family to whom he will always be a much loved husband, devoted father, son, brother, brother-in-law and much adored uncle. He is survived by his wife Lori, his beautiful children Paige 4 and John 11 months. His mother Jean of Congers, his sister and brother-in-law, Doreen and Chris Rowland and his nephews Greg and Connor of West Nyack, also survives him. A hero is a person who performs something for another person completely from the heart. A hero's motivation is complete and selfless, done out of love and respect.
